Development Department Internship
Spring/Summer 2008
Job Description
Interns will be assigned tasks that relate to the day-to-day operations in the Development Department. These duties may include:
Filing, Mailings, Data Entry, Organizational Skills, working on Membership Drives, researching/planning Donor Events and other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
An interest in public broadcasting
A willingness to learn
The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
Computer skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Flexibility
Multitasking is a great plus!
The Western New York Public Broadcasting Association has an intern opening in the Development Department for 2008. All internships are unpaid, but academic credit may be available through your institution. We do require a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week, on a consistent schedule. Our station is on the Metro Bus system and interns also have access to our FREE parking lot.
