The Account Executive is responsible for securing underwriting revenue from local and regional business accounts in the United States. The Account Executive must possess the skill and desire necessary to develop new underwriting accounts, and submit weekly and monthly reports of local sales activity to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Must meet and surpass monthly budgetary and non-budgetary goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop underwriting revenue from local and regional businesses and organizations, by means of prospecting, presentations and proposals.

Submit weekly and monthly reports as required of local sales activity to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales.

Qualifications and Education Required:
Verifiable track record of successful sales
Strong writing, computer and speaking skills
Ability to multi-task
Work under deadlines
Positive, can do attitude
College degree preferred
Participate in WNED membership drives and other events as required
Clean driver’s license
Previous media sales experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
Knowledge of media and advertising a plus
