My 8 year old daughter was watching it and said, "I wish this was on everyday. "
I asked her, "Like what, history?" and she said "Polish things."
It was wonderful all the way around and we should all be proud! It also was a great experience to be a part of it all.  I hope it gets air time around the country and there are more programs like these to come!!!

I thought that the presentation on Polonia was excellent.  WNED and its staff should be commended for the excellent work that they performed in producing this outstanding program.  I know that every Pole who viewed this program had to be proud of his/her ancestry and the great contribution that the Polish People played in developing the great Buffalo life.  Let us hope that this will be the first of many other documentary programs that will feature the Poles in Western New York as well as other ethnic groups who helped to create the "City of Good Neighbors - Buffalo, NY."

Thank you!  I was in tears for most of the program, it was so moving. I am tearing up now! So many memories from my childhood with my Grandma!  I watched it with my daughter.  She was interested in the parade and dance costume footage.  So when I told her that Mommy has a costume like that, she asked to see it.  During one of the breaks I dug my Mloda Polonia Krakowskiej Stroj (costume) out of the back of the closet and showed it to her.  "Mommy it's beautiful," as she tried on the headpiece with flowers and ribbons.

Polonia was wonderful!!  The program was a source of important local history, a walk down memory lane, and a call for everybody now living here recognize the importance of family, place and community as we move forward.  I can't begin to tell you how much your warmth, joy, and pride added to the total experience for me and my wife, Jane.  What a great evening.  You made me feel like part of the family!!  I'm watching again on Sunday.

When they showed the Broadway Market, it brought back MANY fond memories of when I was a child.  It was a pleasure to see the Polish culture brought to the eyes of the public and confirmed my belief that "our people" are such a genuine loving and giving culture.  We value family, friends and things that are important to the heart.

I, and talking to others, enjoyed the nostalgia!  The show also reminded me how much in recent years I enjoyed being involved in Polish activities and the people involved.  I have been backsliding lately and this show reinvigorated my interest.

My family shopped at Sattler’s and still shops at The Broadway Market.  I remember watching the parade on Broadway too.  My Mother, Grandmother and I all buy our meat from a butcher, not the grocery store.  Our Polish history and traditions will be taught for many years and many generations to come.  Some of the program brought tears to my eyes.  I am fifth-generation Polish-American through my maternal grandmother and third generation through my maternal grandfather.  I look forward to visiting Poland with my husband and children someday.
