Have you heard the news? WNED is excited to announce a new special event…the first Antiques Home Show. During this fun, one-day event ticketed guests will be able to bring antiques to the WNED studio for a verbal appraisal. The Antiques Home Show will be May 17, 2008.

WNED would never be able to host special events like this without our wonderful volunteer support. Volunteers will be needed in the following areas:

Lobby (check-in, greeters and door handlers)

Studio (greeters, appraiser assistants and floaters)

Cafeteria (hospitality and concessions)

Volunteer shifts will be 8:30 am – 12:30 pm & 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm. If you would like to be an appraiser’s assistant, we would also like you to attend a short training session on Wednesday, May 14 at 6pm where dinner will be provided.
