Reporter/anchor Mark Leitner has over 25 years of experience, with a career that began in the mid-1970s. From 1979 to 2002, he was a newscaster in commercial radio, and has received several awards, most notably an Associated Press Award for Best Newscast.

One of the most respected newsmen in Western New York, Mark also possesses a master’s degree in education. After a brief career in teaching, he returned to radio in November 2003.

In his spare time, Leitner, a Vietnam Veteran, enjoys reading, listening to jazz and big band music and following the Cleveland Indians. He and his wife live in Lockport. They have two daughters.
