A New Zoo for Buffalo

Follow the intricate planning and careful construction of a major, new two-part attraction at the revitalized Buffalo Zoo.

North American River Otters –- namely siblings Harry and Hermione -- are now at home in Otter Creek, the most ambitious exhibit to be constructed at the zoo in decades. Nearby, Sea Lion Cove now features these entertaining marine mammals. These new exhibitions represent Phase 1 of the zoo’s impressive water-themed master plan. This film goes behind-the-scenes to show how these exhibits came to fruition. Viewers also learn how animal handlers, zoo staff, exhibit planners and architects have worked toward a new beginning for a historic zoo.
