Legendary conductor Gunther Herbig was born in 1931 and this weekend, even though he's in his 80s, he will conduct one of the monumental symphonies by Bruckner, the 8th, at Kleinhans Music Hall with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Saturday 2/22 at 8pm and Sunday 2/23 at 2:30.  His "secret of youth?"  Everything in moderation and "always have the feeling that you are just at the beginning of your profession" as he explained to WNED.
