The WNED-TV production center is located in downtown Buffalo, in close proximity to I-190. For our out of town clients, we are only 20 minutes from the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, five minutes from the Peace Bridge to Canada and directly across the street from one of Buffalo’s premier hotels.
WNED-TV’s broadcast center is home to one of the largest studios in our three-state area (outside of NYC) and is approved as a qualified film production facility by the state of New York. Certain productions may be eligible for tax credits. Check here http://www.nylovesfilm.com/tax.asp for more information.

It has been home to The Mark Russell Comedy Specials for PBS and the New York senatorial debate for MSNBC, as well as numerous rental clients for the production of commercials, satellite media tours, webcasts, infomercials and network news programs. We are fully HD capable with a Ross Vision Quattro (four M/E) switcher, Chyron HyperX2 HD graphics and five Sony HDC-1400 cameras, including three with Autoscript teleprompter units. Our video control room has been upgraded with a new monitor wall and a user-friendly three-tier layout.
WNED-TV has carved a reputation as a major supplier of high-definition (HD), field-produced documentaries for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), which has seen our programs viewed in millions of homes across North America. National HD productions have included "The War of 1812," "Underground Railroad: The William Still Story," "Chautauqua: An American Narrative," "The Adirondacks," "Frank Lloyd Wright’s Buffalo" and "Elbert Hubbard: An American Original."
Our inventory of field production gear includes four HD cameras: Panasonic’s HPX-2700 (P2) and HDX-900P (DVC PRO); Sony HVR-Z7U and the GoPro Hero3 Black WNED-TV has access to the most talented DPs, videographers and sound recordists in the area.
