What is the difference between High-Definition and Standard Definition?
A High-Definition Television (HDTV) image is the highest quality image available to consumers. The resolution, or number of vertical and horizontal lines that make up a picture, is twice as high as a standard definition monitor. This allows for a sharper picture with superior color. |
