The WNED Legacy Society was established to honor friends and members who have planned for WNED’s future with a gift by bequest, trust, life insurance policy, retirement account or retained life estate. Legacy gifts are entrusted to and managed within the WNED Foundation. Past Presidents of WNED’s Board of Directors and a group of dedicated financial planners serve on the Board of the Foundation. A conservative draw annually on investment earnings add cash to WNED’s operating revenues, and makes possible the highest quality TV programming, continuous classical music and NPR news, advances in technology, and innovations in education, that you have come to expect from your public broadcasting station.
