Major Giving Clubs

WNED|WBFO operates with the support of our members, who are truly the backbone of the organization. They provide many of the resources needed to cover basic expenses -- everything from our electric bill to our PBS dues.  Although a membership costs as little as $35, some members have the capability and interest to do more for public broadcasting in Western New York and Southern Ontario. Donors who make an annual contribution of at least $300 provide the support

These members are enrolled in one of the following Major Giving Clubs

Foundation Support

The Foundation and Community Development Department secures grant funding for television and radio productions, education and outreach, as well as for equipment and building needs. The team also issues detailed reports to foundations and the community about the impact of grant funds received.

The department also continues to reach out to elected officials to stress the importance of public broadcasting in the region.
