BUFFALO, N.Y. – As part of special programming next week, WNED-TV will be presenting “The Diamond Queen,” “Hullabaloo: A 60s Pop Flashback,” “Unleash the Power of the Female Brain with Dr. Daniel Amen” and “We Own the Years Ahead with Nicholas Boothman.”

Amen and Boothman will be making live studio appearances on their respective air dates.

In “The Diamond Queen,” airing Saturday, March 2 at 8 p.m., Andrew Marr presents a three-part documentary series looking at the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II, with special interviews and remarkable archive footage.

“Hullabaloo: A 60s Pop Flashback,” airing Monday, March 4 at 9:30 p.m., is the first-ever retrospective of the fondly remembered and highly influential 1965-66 NBC primetime series “Hullabaloo.” The top singers and groups of the hippest decade present their greatest hits, including the Byrds, Sonny & Cher, Paul Revere and the Raiders, the Mamas & the Papas, Nancy Sinatra, the Four Seasons and the Animals.

For the first time, bestselling author and brain expert Dr. Daniel G. Amen offers insight live in-studio on the unique characteristics and needs of the female brain in “Unleash the Power of the Female Brain with Dr. Daniel Amen” airing Tuesday, March 5 at 8 p.m.  In this breakthrough guide based on research from his clinical practice, Dr. Amen addresses the issues women ask about the most including fertility, pregnancy, menopause, weight, stress, anxiety, insomnia, and relationships.

“We Own the Years Ahead with Nicholas Boothman,” airs Wednesday, March 6 at 8 p.m. with a live in-studio appearance by Boothman. He explores emerging facts of life and reveals social habits are more important to longevity than diet and exercise, imagination trumps will-power in eliminating self-destructive habits and when it comes to health and longevity your zip code is more influential than your genetic code.
