SINGER-SONGWRITER JANN ARDEN TO PERFORM AT UB CENTER FOR THE ARTS
WNED, LiveNation and ESI Concerts Present Feb. 15 Concert

WNED joins with LiveNation and ESI Concerts to present “An Evening with Jann Arden” at the University at Buffalo’s Center for the Arts on Friday, February 15 at 8 pm.  The center is located on UB’s North Campus in Amherst, N.Y.

This award-winning singer-songwriter is considered one of Canada’s most talented performers. With nine CDs, seventeen Top Ten singles, and numerous awards (including eight Junos and a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame), Arden has been hailed as “an entertainment icon.”

She has toured four times with Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, entertaining audiences in Europe, Australia and the United States. During her own 2007 “Uncover Me” Tour, Arden visited 23 cities across Canada, performing to sold-out crowds.

On Friday, February 8 at 11:30 pm, WNED-TV will broadcast JANN ARDEN: LIVE AT REVIVAL, a searing, intimate one hour concert recorded in high definition, live at Revival Bar in downtown Toronto.  Arden performs songs that span her career and songs from her latest album Uncover Me.

Uncover Me (2007) is a collection of Arden’s favorite songs. The album debuted at #1 on the Digital SoundScan Chart and placed third on the Nielsen’s SoundScan Chart. Led by the hit single “Bring The Boys Home,” Arden takes ownership of memorable songs crafted by some of the best contemporary songwriters. The tracks include “You’re So Vain” (Carly Simon); “California Dreamin’” (the Mama’s & the Papas); the Canadian Top Ten single “At Seventeen” (Janis Ian); “Son of a Preacher Man” (Dusty Springfield); and the new original song “Counterfeit Heart.”

Tickets ($25 or $20) can be purchased at the Center for the Arts Box Office (weekdays, 10 am-6 pm), all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or with a charge card at 716-852-5000. For more information, contact the Center for the Arts at 716-645-ARTS or visit www.ubcfa.org.
