BUFFALO, N.Y. – Classical 94.5 WNED has announced that Bob Krum has been selected to host “Morning Classics” weekdays from 6 – 10 a.m.
Krum began his work at Classical 94.5 WNED in 2008 as the music librarian. For 4 1/2 years, he maintained the station’s collection of over 32,000 CDs. As a part-time program host, Krum introduced the summertime band concert series, “Concert in the Park,” and began an annual tradition for the holidays, “A Krummy Christmas.” Prior to joining the Classical 94.5 WNED team, he served as a Math educator at Canisius High School for 24 years.
“Bob came to us wanting to help because he loves classical music and the station,” said Gabe DiMaio, Classical 94.5 WNED program director. “Time and again he has proven himself as a reliable team player who was always willing to learn something new. He has been doing a wonderful job for us on-the-air and I am glad that he is now carrying the flag for Morning Classics.”
