(Buffalo, NY) – Journalist, political commentator and award-winning author David Corn will present “Presidential Leadership in the Age of Obama” during the Buffalo City Forum and buffet luncheon on Wednesday, December 10 at 12:15 pm in the WNED studios, 140 Lower Terrace, Buffalo. After his speech, this prolific Washington insider will answer questions from the audience.

Corn shares his insights on the national political scene and its players through various media. He is the Washington bureau chief for Mother Jones magazine and a Fox News Channel contributor.  For twenty years, Corn was the Washington editor of The Nation magazine.

In addition to writing for a host of national newspapers and magazines, he was a regular panelist on the weekly television show, Eye On Washington, which was syndicated on PBS stations across the United States. He has appeared on ABC News' This Week with George Stephanopoulos, The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, Crossfire, The Capital Gang, Fox News Sunday, Washington Week in Review, The McLaughlin Group, Hardball, C-SPAN's Washington Journal, and many other shows. He is a regular on NPR's The Diane Rehm Show and To The Point and has contributed commentary to NPR, BBC Radio, and CBC Radio.

His diverse topics encompass the White House, Congress and the national security establishment. He has broken stories on George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Newt Gingrich, Colin Powell, Rush Limbaugh, Enron, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Pentagon.

Corn’s books range from biography (Blond Ghost: Ted Shackley and the CIA’s Crusades) tofiction (the political thriller, Deep Background) to exposé (the New York Times bestseller The Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception). Most recently, he co-authored (with Michael Isikoff) Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War.
