From December 9, 2009 through January 8, 2010, WNED and Art Dialogue Gallery present Edward G. Bisone and Donald J. Siuta, Works Selected from the Collections of the Artists in WNED’s Horizons Gallery. The gallery is located at 140 Lower Terrace, across from the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo, Tel.: 716-845-7000. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am-4:30 pm. Free parking is available.
Edward G. Bisone, one of Buffalo's most prominent artists, will be showing mixed media paintings. He has exhibited across the United States with shows at the Orange County Contemporary Art Center, the Boston Corporate Art Gallery, The Castellani Art Museum, the Burchfield Penney Art Center and Art Dialogue Gallery. He is listed in Who's Who of American Artists.
Donald J. Siuta, who will be showing photographs,has had solo exhibitions at the Buffalo Club, the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, the Arts Council of Buffalo and Erie County and Canisius College. As an arts professional, Mr Siuta is director of Art Dialogue Gallery and the Western New York Artists Group. He serves on the City of Buffalo Arts Commission where he is chair of the Art and Monuments Conservation Committee.
This has been a long awaited collaboration by these two artists whose friendship has spanned over thirty years. “We have found inspiration from our long association and have been hoping to show together for a long time” Siuta stated. “I think Eddie has been my greatest inspiration and encouragement.”
