BUFFALO, N.Y.—As part of special programming, WNED-TV will air “Justin Hines: Days to Recall” on Saturday, September 24 at 9:30 p.m.
The program features the unforgettable Justin Hines, along with full orchestral accompaniment, performing original songs and familiar tunes from the folk music era. Powerful vocals and vibrant stage presence make Justin a captivating performer, inspiring and uplifting his audience with his signature folk-pop blend of light-hearted music with a positive message. Shot before a live audience in Toronto, with a guest appearance by The Tenors (formerly The Canadian Tenors), this special is an emotional ride complete with upbeat, empowering tracks such as “Courage (Come Out To Play),” and heartbreaking ballads such as “Momentarily,” from his upcoming album.
With an unflagging spirit that’s remarkable under any circumstances, Hines copes with a rare genetic joint condition called Larsen Syndrome, which keeps him wheelchair bound. From a very early age, Hines’s creative mind was emanating poetry about love, the soul and other such universal topics. His charitable works are so numerous it’s hard to even begin to list his performances at fundraising events that began at the age of ten. His love and concern for humanity, not just the disadvantaged, gradually became his focus of attention.
