BUFFALO, N.Y. – WBFO-FM 88.7 / WNED-AM 970 will begin broadcasting the exciting 13-week series, “Radiolab.” The one-hour program will simulcast on the stations Sunday nights at 6 p.m. from May 6 through July 29.
“Radiolab” explores themes including science, philosophy and the human experience through a patchwork of people, sounds and stories. In each episode, “Radiolab” experiments with sound and style allowing science to fuse with culture, and information to sound like music.
“We are excited to share Radiolab with our listeners,” said Jim Ranney, WBFO-FM 88.7 / WNED-AM 970 station manager. “The programs truly present a theater of the mind and use sound to explore interesting topics and themes.”
Hosted by 2011 MacArthur “Genius Grant” fellow Jad Abumra and NPR Science Correspondent Robert Krulwic, the program won a Peabody Award in 2011 and is produced by WNYC in New York City.
