Downton Abbey Preview Event

WNED | WBFO held “Downton Abbey” preview events to give fans a sneak peek at the final season. While guests dined on a catered meal, Stefanie Wichhart, a professor at Niagara University, gave a presentation on women and workers in the 1920s. After a brief Q&A, the “Downton Abbey” screening began. Guests received “Downton Abbey” goodie bags, and a wonderful time was had by all.

A second event was held in Toronto, Ontario at the Rogers Theatre on Bloor Street. Guests were treated to lunch with tea, coffee and desserts. The guest speaker, Haley Andrew, also discussed women and work in the “roaring twenties.” Afterward, everyone filed into the theatre and watched the first episode on the big screen.
