EPIC Storytime at Canalside

The Education Department partnered with Every Person Influences Children (EPIC) over the summer to present a weekly storytime at Canalside Buffalo. Starting at the end of June 2016 and running through the end of August 2016, EPIC provided free story readings, associated activities, performers and special guest readers, including Mayor Brown. With EPIC taking the lead, WNED | WBFO co-hosted some of the weekly story readings and activities.

Week after week children and families, youth summer camp organizations, and even tourists took part in what EPIC and WNED | WBFO had to offer. Many families returned for consecutive weeks to take advantage of the fun summertime kids’ activities that were provided for free.
