Keeshea Pratt Band
The Keeshea Pratt Band is the headliner for this WBFO’s Blues Bash. This 8 piece band is known for its sultry and edgy sound that is nothing short of greatness. Pratt is a Mississippi based singer who has the ability to attract fans from all walks of life without ever straying from the intricate roots that nurtured her award winning voice. This singer performs all genres of music with charisma, style, class, and sophistication that is captivating and award winning.
The Blues Foundation out of Memphis, TN crowned Keeshea as the Queen of the 2018 International Blue’s Challenge. She is highly recognized and has received several other awards such as Houston’s Blue’s Challenge Winner 2017, 2012 Jackson Music Awards Female Artist of the Year, and 2011 Jackson Free Press Artist of the Week. The Keeshea Pratt Band has become a musical inspiration for all generations.
Pratt’s unique style and spirited presentation connects to audiences and renders an offering of shear vocal pleasure.
Willie May Band
The Opening Act for WBFO’s Buffalo Blue’s Bash is Willie May. This artist has a variety of music types that range from rock and country to Cajun and reggae. Willie May is an expert musician whose original blend of music is a joy to listen to.
Willie May has performed in many clubs including The Lafayette Tap Room in Buffalo to Antones in Austin, TX. He has made other appearances in The Black Swan in Toronto, The Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse, The Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis, and countless other venues. The Willie May Band is a five time Buffalo Area Music Award winner voted Best New York Blues Beat Magazine’s Band of the Year. Willie May has many successful albums and even features some of Buffalo’s finest artists in one of his more recent albums “Haunted House.” His 19th studio album and most recent one produced hits more of the Country/American side of the Blue’s spectrum.
This artist takes inspiration from all genres of music and has an all-encompassing style that never bores and always entertains.
Food from the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, beer and wine will be available for purchase. The Bash takes place at the WNED-TV Studios in downtown Buffalo and doors open at 6:15 pm.
