Renting Meeting Space at WNED | WBFO
Note: Rental of any WNED | WBFO spaces detailed below includes free, secure, lighted parking for guests.
All of the facilities are located on the building’s first floor and are fully accessible.
Although it is primarily used for television and film production, the 7000 square-foot state-of-the-art WNED Studio is ideal for many uses including corporate meetings, candidate debates, town halls, public hearings, training events, annual luncheon and dinners, press conferences, concerts and screenings.
The studio has a seating capacity of 450 for table seating and 600 for theatre-style seating and features a 20’ x 24’ retractable video screen. By utilizing black floor-to-ceiling draperies, the room can easily be split into smaller spaces to comfortably accommodate any size group.
As the photos illustrate, the studio can be easily configured in any number of ways and our staff is happy to work with you to tailor the space for your specific event.
Board RoomThe WNED | WBFO Board Room is our Executive meeting space, suitable for small corporate or non-profit meetings, presentations or video conferences. The room’s location directly off the building main lobby makes it ideal for accessibility not only for guests but for caterers as well.
The Board Room can accommodate up to 36 people and the room can be arranged in traditional board room style or in any number of different configurations to meet your needs.
The room can be set up to handle most audio-visual/technical needs, including PowerPoints in widescreen format, with or without embedded video/audio; video and telephonic conferencing and Skype. Podiums with microphones and audio amplification are also available.
Those using the space are free to work with the caterer of their choice or bring in food and/or refreshments. There is a small working kitchen adjacent to the Board Room which caterers can utilize, along with the Dining Room. We are happy to provide a list of suggested caterers.
The Board Room and additional spaces detailed below are available for rental for a very reasonable rate, with special rates available for non-profits. Some A/V equipment and wi-fi accessibility may require an additional fee.
Green RoomThe Mark Russell Green Room is available when renting other WNED | WBFO facilities, such as the studios or Board Room. In addition to its function as a traditional Green Room, it can also be used as an interview room or for small, private meetings. The tastefully decorated room is adjoined by full ladies and men’s dressing rooms; each with fully illuminated makeup desks, showers and attached lavatories.
The Green Room has a 55-inch LED wall mounted screen to monitor studio production and for over the air HD broadcasts. Wi-fi is available.
Lunch RoomThe WNED | WBFO Lunch Room is perfect for small to medium size groups to gather in when visiting the station for meetings, seminars, events or tours elsewhere in the building. It can also be used to serve crew meals when production companies are renting our studio facilities. It can accommodate up to 70 people and has an attached commissary with vending machines.

WNED | WBFO is conveniently located in downtown Buffalo at 140 Lower Terrace, near the I-190. The entrance to our parking lot is on Charles Street (also known as "Mark Russell Alley").
ParkingIn addition to parking provided to those attending events at WNED, monthly parking may be available to companies seeking to secure parking for their employees. Parking for nearby special events may also be arranged.
