Tahmid - Share Your Story

My name is Tahmid. I am from Sylet, Bangladesh. My country is special because it's my birthplace. In my country, the biggest problem is people don't have enough money.

I was feeling sometimes good and sometimes bad when I lived there, because the nature of my country is very beautiful but it is damaged because of many bad people.

My family came to Buffalo because it is a better life, better education, better food etc.

I came to Buffalo with my family. I was feeling happy when I came here because I can live a better life than in my country.

The hardest part about coming to Buffalo was language because I don't know English. There are so many problems in English that I do not know.

In my country, the biggest problem is corruption. I was feeling bad when I lived there, because if there is a bribe to do any government work there are many problems.

The things I like about Buffalo are Niagara falls, school, I nature, downtown etc. The thing that I do not like about Buffalo is I don't like the weather.
